Letter to The National Safeguarding Board regarding the Archbishop of Canterbury

15/05/2016
Serious formal complaint against Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby and the Bishop of Winchester. Complaint addressed to Graham Tilby and Jane Dodds of the Church of England's National Safeguarding Unit with copies sent to 10 Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, the National Child abuse Inquiry and the Press and media who continue to advertise and glorify the Archbishop at the expense of abuse victims:

Dear Graham Tilby and Jane Dodds and other recipients,

I understand that the Church of England have for some reason felt the need to pretend to care about my welfare recently, suddenly and too late.

Unfortunately the Church of England's relentless and severe damage to me means I see this as a farce; and while defamatory, misleading and untrue reports and articles about me by and on behalf of the Jersey Deanery are still available online and in circulation, and while no-one in my case has been dismissed or even reprimanded for their behaviour, the Church's sudden and belated pretence of care is distressing and not remotely credible. The Church have had years to put this right and have continued to oppress or ignore me instead.

As you will be aware, I made a clergy discipline complaint against the Archbishop as well as Bishops Butler and Dakin 2014. And as you must be aware, the Clergy discipline complaint was not dealt with due to there only being a corrupt and ineffectual system. Indeed I was threatened by Mark Hedley, who claimed he could not understand the huge volume of evidence of the Bishop of Winchester's serious misconduct.
As I said in reply, if he really could not see what was before him and really thought he could make veiled threats to protect the Bishop, he should resign. Incredibly the case was then offered to the conflicted Archbishop who had overseen the Bishop of Winchester's harm to me and condoned it.

The Archbishop of Canterbury's persistent showing off in the press has become unbearable, he has told the whole nation that he is a narcissist and he has lied enough about the Church and Safeguarding, when will he be asked to be quiet? His narcissism is unfair on the victims that he and his church has made suffer. And in my case, the Archbishop of Canterbury is directly responsible for my continued suffering, and has openly upheld the wrongdoers in my case, especially Bishop Dakin and Bob Key, as you will have seen in Bob Hill's recording of the BBC Jersey interview in the link a few paragraphs down.

The Archbishop isn't credible in making statements regarding 'Bishops being committed to safeguarding' while he has overseen and worked with the Bishop of Winchester in publicly destroying,  discrediting and defaming me, leading to severe and irreparable harm, not just to me, but to Bob Hill, the man who singlehandedly tried to prevent me from being killed by the Bishop, Archbishop, church and press and media's actions.

This evidence in the link above shows that while Welby is actively protecting the Church by misleading the general public through the press, giving the image that the Church cares about safeguarding, which it does not. He himself, Justin Welby, has actively harmed a vulnerable adult. The Church, with the evidence now presented, are obliged to take action, and if their 'safeguarding' measures have improved, as repeatedly boasted by the Archbishop in the press, then he himself must now face disciplinary action under those measures.

Most recipients will have seen my 'Letters to the Press' articles now, the first of Which is actually to the Prime Minister, but unfortunately the Guardian Newspaper is persisting in Publishing the Archbishop's 'safeguarding' propaganda while I remain suffering, and I object.

Here is an open letter version of a summary of 'Letters to the Press' which is online with my other open letters in order to protect me from further harm from the Church of England. I am voiceless, and the only way I can try to protect myself from the relentless defamation of me is to publish these things.

Part of the purpose of this letter is to ask once again for the resignation of the Bishop of Winchester, who's prolonged harm to me has been public and full of blatant misconducts and even illegal actions. And also, as the Archbishop is aware of my severe distress at his narcissistic showing off while he has played a significant part in destroying me, I am also asking him to resign now as well.
And I would ask Her Majesty the Queen and also The Right Honourable Prime Minister David Cameron, to ensure that these men do leave their posts as they have shown psychopathic disregard for my welfare and safety whilst using the Press and Media to glorify themselves.

I would also ask for the annulment of the whitewash reports and a genuine apology from the Church to be made public.

I am exhausted from years of fighting for my safety and suffering trauma and fear with rogue journalists and cranks harming me as a result of the Bishop of Winchester's insane actions in launching a one-sided whitewash into the press about my case, condoned and upheld by Bishop Butler and the Archbishop.

The smears and attacks on me on top of homelessness, destitution and illness caused by the Church, have repeatedly nearly led to my suicide.
And if I had committed suicide, the Church would have continued to abuse me and my case, as they did with one of Peter Ball's victims who committed suicide. Paul Butler tried to glorify the Church by 'praising' this dead man, which was disgusting.
Although in my case, if I had given up the fight instead of taking the Bishop to court, the Church of England would have published more whitewash reports without taking any responsibility.

And this has happened under Archbishop Welby's direction. So nothing has changed since Paul Butler and others protected Peter Ball when he was in office. This is why I am asking the press, the Prime Minister and the Queen again to ask Justin Welby and the Church of England to stop abusing the press.

Justin Welby cannot credibly continue to talk about Safeguarding and abuse while he has been involved in the abuse of a vulnerable adult through mis-use of the press and whitewash conflicted internal Church of England reports.

Repeatedly and for show, the Church have shown this inward-looking effort of 'meeting legislation needs' through trying to force their version of 'help' on me illegally, while publicly destroying me. They really do not have a clue about safeguarding, and it was safeguarding director Jane Fisher who damaged me more than my abusers by trying to silence me to prevent press scandal.

This letter is another plea for the resignation of the Bishop of Winchester, and the Archbishop as well as he continues to be deceitful in the press and mislead and hurt people, and it is a reminder of my letters to the press about this, and it is also a reminder to the Church of England that because they are incapable of safeguarding they need to arrange outside intervention, and also they need to arrange an independent investigation into my case, an investigation that includes me this time!

Also, because the stress of fighting the Church singlehandedly to stop them killing me caused Bob Hill a severe brain haemmorage, and he was the sole carer for his disabled wife, I believe that the Diocese of Winchester owe Bob and Anne payment for their care for the rest of Bob's life.  The Bishop of Winchester seems totally oblivious of the human cost of his and Welby's actions against me and the lasting damage not just to me but to the Hill family, while the Bishop's actions have achieved nothing whatsoever for safeguarding, the opposite in fact. I remain living in fear and in hiding.

Would someone ensure that I am fully and permenantly safeguarded against harm from Bishop Dakin and Archbishop Welby and that their whitewash reports into my case are legally annulled, redacted and removed. This includes the Gladwin report, the Steel report and the Glenys Johnstone Jersey safeguarding partnership report which was also engineered by the Diocese and other agencies to cover up. This is a vulnerable adult's life at risk as I won't withstand any more defamation or lies about me in public.

I am going to end the main letter here and provide you with a few pages of links regarding my case below my signature. Please read the comments on Bob Hill's blogs as well, they tell stories in themselves. Also remember, Bob didn't know me when he started writing these, and he didn't ever meet with me and hear my story but based his blogs on the Korris whitewash and what was going on in Jersey.
regards,

HG/JJ

Bob Hill's blogs on my case:
I am going to put Bob's most recent letter first to show you just how recently the Archbishop of Canterbury has been unpholding corruption by meeting in the press limelight with Abusers and their protectors while shunning their victim:

Please see this letter for one form of Dame Steel's conflicted actions:

From twitter :)

Beware of people. They will take you to courts and whip you in their assemblies. -Matthew 10:17

Matthew 10. It remains a mystery who called Tim Dakin to 'help the lost, the last and the least' or why he isn't thus so doing, nor who gave him the authority to brand any as lost last and least who are equal in God's eyes.

But, Jesus sent the disciples out as poor, to reach out to the poor, he did not give them fat palaces, fat salaries, and loads of power to abuse, the Pharisees were the ones with wealth and power to abuse supposedly in God's Name.

Proverbs 31v8 what the church don't do

Speak out on behalf of the voiceless,
and for the rights of all who are vulnerable.
Speak out in order to judge with righteousness
and to defend the needy and the poor.

You have a lot to learn!

Don't you find that when you challenge the Church of England, you get Bible quoted at you, usually incorrectly?
That isn't really an answer, it is usually desperation. Self-righteous blaring, as I have previously described it.

I remember an activity day at a Church of England Church, I was on door duty and I remember this lad with learning disabilities kept getting in my way and he was a very noisy lad so it was hard for me to explain to incomers what the schedule for the day was.
So I said to him 'could you let me have some space to explain to people what is going on?'

This really annoyed him, and he said to me 'You have a lot to learn!'
He said it a number of times, and I actually agreed with him!

I still do!
And maybe I should have been more tolerant, but my own disability meant that sensory overload occurred when he was being noisy and I was trying to interact with incomers, which is hard for me anyway.

He often told people off, because of his disability, he had a good heart but could get very frustrated and angry with life and people, which is something I can empathise with, very much so, and in dealing with people I do indeed have a lot to learn!

Anyway, back to the activity day, we had a Bible study group where we were meant to find certain topics, and as is typical of the CofE, my group were mainly middle aged to elderly, and to my surprise, they started asking if I had been to Bible college and how did I know the Bible so well etc!
Now I replied that it was simply from reading the Bible from when I was young.

These people go to Church every week, some have done all their lives, so imagine one of these is 78 years old, she has heard the Bible in Church every single week, picked up on various popular proverbs and quotes and stories, but not thought them through, nor does the Church encourage her to do so, it is THEIR Bible, THINKERS are DANGEROUS to the Church (heehee!).
So this 78 year old who has been a churchgoer all their life, if they hear anything against the Church, they will blare and quote text from the Bible, often in the wrong context, but many people who speak against the Church don't know the text any better than  the Church do, so the ridiculousness of the situation is often sadly lots.

So anyway, there is me, in this group of lifelong Anglicans, finding and explaining the Bible passages and them asking me if I went to Bible college.
Oh, shame on the Church of England! Those old dears pay to keep the church alive and you aren't giving them value for money!

That said, everyone has the ability to pick up, read and question the Bible, and I, myself, need to do so a lot more!
I have Bibles, I do not read daily as I would like to.
But, there are those in the Church and who have been involved in harming me, who do read daily, make a big show of it, and yet still behave as if they have no understanding at all.

The other thing is, when you go to church, the person preaching, who can be excellent to poor in their teaching, because the CofE do not appear to have any supervision or standard of teaching, is usually going to give their own take on the Bible.

And as mentioned previously and also in the light of the recent attempts by the Church of England to force bystanders to pay repair bills, the Church try to use the Bible and sermons to force more money out of people for repairs and to keep the Church running, I have heard this done over and over again and it sickens me every time, because that is the Pharisees, not Jesus speaking.

So, we have a problem, the CofE are under-educating, and although I have a lot to learn, I learn more by questioning than by blaring indignantly and quoting Bible text to defend an organization like the CofE who are simply doing wrong.

Anything and everything

Good evening,
This blog is on a bit of a break as things are busy here.

I would just like to say that it remains the case that what was inflicted on me last year for no reason at all, and the smear campaign by the Jersey Deanery was an utter disgrace.

The plumbline, yardstick, spirit level of measurement of the Church's behaviour is Jesus and His teachings, and their behaviour, diocese and Deanery last year, was inexcusably completely and utterly out of line.

If the Church, with all their wealth and power, claim to be there because of Jesus and His teachings, they should act as if they are there because of Jesus and His teachings.

Jesus Never publicly flogged anyone, He prevented a woman from being stoned to death, while Deanery and Diocese have acted as if they don't even know the Bible.
Which is why I keep offering them Matthew Chapter 23.

Spiritual abuse musings

Thinking my blogging was over for the day, I am inspired by debate, and am looking at the awesome 'Battered Sheep Ministries website again.
Basically thinking in terms of what Elle and I commented on healthy churches on my recent 'Anything and Everything' post.

http://www.batteredsheep.com/checklist.htmlhttp://www.batteredsheep.com/checklist.html

I will proceed with a variety of quotes about Church and cult behaviour. This is very refreshing stuff, it helps to restore me, thanks Ginger, for inspiring me.

The word of the Lord came to me: "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals. My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them."
[Ezekiel 34:1-6, NIV]
 This passage below is tough!
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: "The teachers of the law [literally, scribes] and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach."
[Matthew 23:1-3, NIV]

"Woe to you, blind guides! You say, 'If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.' You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?"
[Matthew 23:16-17, NIV]

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices -- mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law -- justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel."
[Matthew 23:23-24, NIV]

Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors."
[Luke 22:25, NIV]
I have had all my dirty laundry hung out by the church, whether the dirt is imagined or real, and although I have confessed my sins in penitence and faith, I remain condemned.

"... at any future date, the overseer may drag out this dirty laundry to discredit the disciple or make him feel guilty. That happened to me when I was trying to explain my position. My overseer blurted out, 'I hate to bring this up, but ...' And this was done in a room full of people. My immediate reaction was to curl up and shut up. I had nothing on her but she had a lot on me."
[Churches That Abuse, by Ronald M. Enroth, pp. 106-107.]

As we have seen, all of this authoritarian and elitist projection of power through intimidation and manipulation inevitably leads to very tragic consequences. And these consequences go even beyond what I have just described. Jesus foretold the consequences in the Pharisees' case as follows (verse 34):
"Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town."
[Matthew 23:34, NIV]

I cannot imagine Jesus telling us to falsley empower ourselves by throwing our hands out and saying 'fire on you', I cannot imagine Him understanding people lying on the floor whimpering 'Daddy God', nor can I see Him encouraging children to be used in the laying on of hands, or the use of 'sobbing music' or sexed-up talk about us being the Bride' to get people in a hysterical mood, these do not seem like frivolities Jesus would have time for when He came to save us.

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to."
[Matthew 23:13, NIV]

Excellent paragraph below!  So many times in Jersey 'words' were given to me, and usually I laughed, because they were given as part of the show.

Words of Wisdom and Words of Knowledge can come from God through spiritually sensitive people today. However, these words do not supersede the authoritative weight of the Apostles. The only real way to be sure that a word from the Lord is for you, is if it's the Word of the Lord, that is, Scripture. And yes, even in this, Scripture is not to be used to manipulate people.

Bible

Here are three important Characters in the Bible - Job, David, Jesus.

They all suffered homelessness, anguish and pain.

Have the people in the Church of England who have damaged me suffered these things? No.

I have.

This is a short post as the longer post I wrote the other night was lost when the internet crashed, I will re-post tomorrow.
