The latest scare for the church to latch onto and try and get publicity for themselves

Propaganda, swine flu, the church loved it, they bought it, they bought the hysteria, they banned communion even though swine flu was a fake disease that killed no one and was made from hysteria and propaganda, and a sheeple population blindly closed down when told to, despite the fact that real flu can be a killer and swine flue wasn't.
The media tried to hard to 'make' deaths from swine flu happen, and managed to get a few.
Even though real flue kills thousands each year.

Jane Fisher was notably a sheeple when I asked her why the church were upholding hysteria.
I remember the church upholding the ban on communion and the hysterical church of england guidelines on not touching each other, and then my church went and enjoyed a bring and share lunch after a communion service without communion.
I have no doubt that the rich and arrogant who run the church will be called to account for insulting Jesus when they finally stand before him, along with their other evils.

But here's the thing.
The latest propaganda/scare, that we are as a nation about to be instructed to panic over and live in antiseptic tanks, is ebola, it is a killer, it is being deliberately spread, as all these things are, and believe me, it will be within the next week or two that the church start screaming hysterically 'Look at us! We are on the ebola train! We are going to curtail your lives to get attention for ourselves! We are going to publicly make a fuss and use ebola as we used swine flu! We are a government department after all! It is our job to spread propaganda!

I am so glad I am shot of that antiChrist Church of England, so glad I am not one of their rich old sheeple.

That this House, being conscious of the numerous cases of previously concealed child abuse in which individuals have been able to use their status as public figures to deter victims and to prevent or disrupt investigations of their crimes, and being conscious that in some cases abusers, and those who have concealed abuse, have been able to use their positions in public office and the institutions of the state such as Parliament and Government to shield them and their wrongdoing from proper, lawful scrutiny, recognises that the dangers of such cover-ups occurring are even greater in small, quasi-self-governing communities than at national level, where, even though checks and balances are more extensive, child abuse and cover-ups by the well-connected have still occurred; notes that a local public inquiry in Jersey into child abuse, the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry, has not gained the confidence of all victims and witnesses; and calls on the relevant UK authorities, the Secretary of State for Justice, the Crown and the Privy Council, in exercise of their responsibilities and powers to ensure good governance, the rule of law and proper administration of justice in the Crown Dependencies, to empower the overarching UK inquiry into child abuse to include the Crown Dependencies.

That this House in congratulating the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey on the forthcoming celebrations of the 60th anniversary of their liberation from Nazi occupation, in which they were the only parts of the British Isles to be subjected to enemy occupation, reminds the UK Government that the governments in the Islands remain reluctant to achieve, still less enforce, even minimal standards of human rights compliance and that the inhabitants of these British territories are denied the protection of international treaty and convention obligations contrary to the commitments entered into by successive UK governments which have ultimate responsibility for the good governance of the Channel Islands; and urges the Government to celebrate the anniversary of occupation by an inquiry to determine the extent to which the Islands are now compliant with human rights obligations and to make recommendations to speed implementation of all of them.

Dependency or Sovereignty? Time to take stock

The Jersey and Guernsey Law Review have published Dependency or Sovereignty? Time to take stock, a transcript of the proceedings of their conference in September 2010, edited by Sir Philip Bailhache. The contributonrs include William Bailhache, Michael Beloff QC, Sir Vic de Carey, Lord Falconer, Richard Falle, HE Sverrir Gunnlaugsson, Lord Hoffman, Prof. Jeffrey Jowell, Michael Lagopolous, Richard McMahon QC, Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, Colin Powell, David Simmons, Dame Heather Steel, Prof. Alastair Sutton and Sir Andrew Wood.
The constitutional relationship between the UK and the Channel Islands may be said to have been in an almost constant state of fluidity from the outset and this conference considers the state of the relationship in the present day and in the future.
